Lawsuits from Exposure to the Chemicals in Roundup Weed Killer Causing Cancer, Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma

Wisconsin personal injury lawyers, Keberle, Patrykus & Laufenberg, LLC have partnered with a National Law Firm to help Wisconsin residents harmed by using Roundup weed killer. National lawsuits have alleged that Monsanto, the manufacturer of Roundup, was negligent in failing to warn consumers of the risk that harmful chemicals in Roundup can cause cancer in individuals who used it.

In 2015, Roundup’s sales approached $5 billion dollars, close to one third of Monsanto’s sales. Monsanto’s Roundup has now been linked to a host of health issues including specific cancers and neurological defects. Glyphosate is the main ingredient in Roundup pesticides and Roundup is one of the most widely used pesticides in the world. The World Health Organization International Agency for Research on Cancer has announced findings indicating that glyphosate is “probably” carcinogenic to humans. Monsanto has questioned the quality of the finding and stated that decades of safety reviews have concluded that labeled uses of glyphosate are safe for human health.

If you have used Roundup at home on a regular basis, or have been frequently exposed to Roundup or other glyphosate herbicides as an agricultural worker (farmer, landscaper, gardener, groundskeeper) you may be at risk.

Lawyers of Roundup victims are seeking compensation for persons who have used Roundup and have been diagnosed with and suffered from non-Hodgkin lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and leukemia. The purpose of the lawsuits is to hold the Monsanto Corporation responsible for the damages that its product has caused to innocent users. Currently, the cases are not a class action, but are being handled as Multidistrict Litigation (MDL).

Roundup Lawyers Are Willing To Evaluate Your Case And Will Not Charge A Fee Unless Compensation Is Obtained For You.

His lifelong goal of representing injured persons was realized when Attorney Keberle opened his own law firm, with the single goal of providing personal attention to every injured person he would represent. That philosophy would later become the cornerstone of Keberle, Patrykus & Laufenberg, LLP, LLP, created in 1992.

Thirty years after starting his career in injury law, he has represented clients successfully in over 1000 injury cases. Attorney Keberle receives statewide requests to assist attorneys in complex injury cases. In 2004, his argument before the Supreme Court helped create new law protecting the rights of injured motorcyclists.

Attorney Keberle is a member of American Association for Justice and Wisconsin Association for Justice, leading organizations for lawyers representing plaintiff’s both nationally and statewide.

Attorney Keberle serves our community as a member of the Board of Directors for both the YMCA and Columns scholarship organization. He coaches children in basketball, baseball and tennis and enjoys spending time with his family at their northern Wisconsin cabin.

Recently, Dan successfully sued the West Bend School District in Federal Court (E.D. Wis.) on behalf of West Bend High School students who alleged mistreatment by the District due to sexual orientation. He prosecuted the case at no cost to the students. As a result, the District is now constrained from engaging in this behavior for seven years under the terms of a Consent Decree ordered by the Hon. Lynn Adelman. Dan was humbled to later receive the 2012 Judi Devereux Award from GSafe Wisconsin for his work on the case.

FREE GUIDE TO CAR ACCIDENT CASES IN WISCONSIN

By Michael L. Laufenberg

I have been helping injured people in Wisconsin for over 20 years. For most of the people I have helped, it was the first car accident they had ever been in, and almost all of them have had many of the same questions and concerns.

FREE GUIDE TO CAR ACCIDENT CASES IN WISCONSIN
FREE GUIDE TO CAR ACCIDENT CASES IN WISCONSIN
  • Who pays for my car repairs or replacement?
  • How do my medical and other bills get paid?
  • How long will this take?
  • Do I have to give the other insurance company a statement?
  • Do I have to sign their forms? Do I have to give them access to all of my medical records?
  • How much will this cost me?

Whether you hire a lawyer or not, you should get answers to your questions. Let’s face it, insurance companies are not there to help you if you are hurt in an accident. Their goal is not to be there “like a good neighbor,” “be on your side” or “get you back where you belong.”

They have to answer to board members and shareholders, and are only concerned with their bottom line (money) by paying less in claims than they collect in premiums. Insurance companies want to pay you as little as possible, and as fast as possible, and some will play tricks, take advantage of you and actually try to convince you not to talk to a lawyer or get good advice.

Decisions you make early on after an accident can have significant effects on the outcome of your claim. The insurance industry has created an uneven playing field by scaring the public into believing the courts are clogged with frivolous injury claims, that lawsuits are out of control, and that most injury victims are only looking for “jackpot justice.” You may have even looked at people making injury claims, and their lawyers, suspiciously – until it happened to you or a friend or a family member. Although the insurance industry’s claims are untrue, honest people like you, who have legitimate injury claims, suffer the consequences of the insurance industry’s “tort reform.”

This Guide is for you. Even if you do not hire a lawyer for your claim (and many of you may not), you are still entitled to honest, straightforward information about the process you are about to undertake – before you speak with the insurance company, before you sign any forms, before the insurance company offers you money to settle your claim, and even before you hire a lawyer (if you need one).

You should not consider this information to be an invitation to enter into an attorney/client relationship. Because there is no written contract between us, I am not your lawyer, and you are not a client of mine or of my law firm. I am offering tips and suggestions about accident claims in Wisconsin in general – every case is different. If you are looking for, or believe you are in need of, legal advice, I recommend that you talk with an experienced, board certified, personal injury lawyer in Wisconsin.

The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) began to get notice of many adverse reports about these filters in 2005. Complaints varied, including damaged/punctured organs and blood vessels. Other complications included filter migration to different parts of the body.

WISCONSIN IVC Blood-Clot Filter PERSONAL INJURY LAWYERS OF KEBERLE, PATRYKUS & LAUFENBERG SERVING WISCONSIN FOR OVER 25 YEARS Wisconsin Lawyers For IVC Filter Lawsuit Assistance Serious questions are being raised about a medical device implanted in thousands of Americans at risk for blood clots — including whether the manufacturer told all it knew about potentially fatal flaws. At least 27 deaths have been associated with the Recovery filter — a spider-shaped apparatus that is inserted into the largest vein in the body — over the course of a decade, an NBC News investigation has found. Government data shows approximately 300 other non-fatal problems have also been reported with the Recovery, which is one of thousands of medical products sold by C.R. Bard. Dodi Froehlich, 45, got hers after severe injuries in a 2004 car accident put her at high risk for clots. The filter was supposed to stop them from reaching her heart or lungs; instead, it nearly killed her. Four months after it was implanted, she developed a severe headache and passed out. "In that two seconds of being in the ambulance, I started flat-lining," Froehlich told NBC News. Did Blood-Clot Filter Used on Thousands of Americans Have Fatal Flaw?
